Mitt Romney’s New Hampshire chief campaign director Jason McBride answered questions for student journalists.

Student reporters from Franklin Pierce University’s The Presidency and The Press appeared in Manchester for the second time this week this time to Mitt Romney’s state headquarters.

The visit began with an overview of Romney’s campaign strategies and goals. McBride, who led the presentation, then opened the floor to questions.

Sarah Morrow asked a follow-up question about how Romney will boost the national deficit.

McBride responded with support for independent business owners and their ability to create a stable job market. McBride believes Romney can use the community and the neighborhoods to rebuild the economy and fight New Hampshire’s over four percent unemployment rate.

“It’s all about relationships,” McBride said.  McBride also announced Romney’s belief in the balanced budge concept in combating inflation.

McBride thanked the students for being involved in state politics and encouraged them to volunteer on campaign teams in their own communities.

McBride told the high school students that giving time to a political candidate’s campaign project “gets you involved”.
