Szep knows his passion.

What first began as a summer job four years ago has turned into a passion for University of New Hampshire freshman Emeric Szep. MacDowell Colony, a non-profit organization in Peterborough, has inspired Szep to pursue a career “to help all the people [he] can.”
To prepare for his career, Szep is enrolled in a two-step program offered by the University of New Hampshire. Two years of study will be dedicated to “community leadership” and an additional two years will focus on political science. Szep said the program was hard to be accepted into but strongly believes that at the end of his schooling, he will have the knowledge he needs to either be a prominent leader in an existing non-profit organization or establish one himself.
Szep was given a scholarship to come to the Presidency and the Press conference by his high school English teacher, who received a special award for his achievement in the high school newspaper that Szep contributed to.
Szep is so dedicated to his commitment to Mac Dowell Colony and his future plans to further his involvment of the non-profit organization world, he was late for the Presidency and the Press conference but said that he looks forward to what the week has in store for him.
