A look inside of the mind of Colin Dudgeon

For Robert “Colin” Dudgeon graduation in June wasn’t the end of his education.
After hearing about the Presidency and the Press program through the Career and Technical Education office at Pinkerton, Dudgeon jumped at the chance to learn about presidential politics and its relation to the press.
Dudgeon plans to attend community college in the fall, then later transfer to a four year university where he can major in political science.
After he graduates with a degree he plans to get a law degree. “I like law because it gives me the change to right wrongs,” Dudgeon said.
During the 2012 Presidential campaign Dudgeon volunteered for the Obama campaign at the local campaign office in Derry, NH. When asked what he took out of his his experience, he answered, “The importance of talking to people and candidates policies and their most pressing concerns.”
He was the captain of the Quiz Bowl team and was on Granite State Challenge as a result of it. Granite State Challenege is the New Hampshire equivalent of Jeopardy. Dudgeon said, “We crushed Vermont.”The granite state challenge helped to me learn how to work with a team and talk with the press,” he said.
