Student finds new interests at P&P

Jon Holmes started out knowing he would like to be an author, but never thought of jumping to journalism.

It started in high school where he took two writing oriented half year courses, journalism and creative writing. Not having the

experience made it confusing at first, but fun to try something new. The experience has made Jon a stronger writer.

The introduction to journalism has paved the way to other things such as photography, which Jon is really starting to enjoy.  Jon aspires to work with graphic design and marketing. At the same time, Jon has developed an interest in politics he did not possess prior to visiting the State House.

This is all coming together at Presidency and the Press where he has been able to take photographs and write articles about his experience.
